A Southern Tasmanian man will have to serve at least 11 years of an 18.5-year sentence for crimes including persistent family violence and rape.
The ABC reports the 46-year-old offender, who can’t be named to protect the identity of his victims, pleaded guilty to abusing and controlling four ex-girlfriends.
The conduct included threats to kill, leaving all four women with PTSD diagnoses.

Survivors hugged each other in the Supreme Court in Hobart as the sentence was handed down.
