A Tasmania Fire Service employee has been stood down after he was allegedly caught drink driving in a TFS vehicle.
The Fire Service has confirmed the employee, who works in a non-operational role, was involved in a crash in Launceston around 7.30am on July 2.
He was breath tested by police at the scene, and allegedly returned a reading of 0.089.

He’s due to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on August 21.
