Court dates have been locked in for the criminal hearing against the owner of the inflatable jumping castle at the centre of the Hillcrest Primary School Tragedy.

Six children were killed and three seriously injured when a gust of air blew the castle into the air on December 16th, 2021

Rosemary Gamble, owner of Taz-Zorb, has pleaded not guilty to failing to comply with health and safety duties.

The case to be heard in the Devonport Magistrates Court from November 5 to 15, almost three years after the tragedy.

The dates were locked in during a directions hearing in Devonport on Monday.

The hearing will be will be broadcast to the public via a live video feed to the Paranaple Convention Centre in Devonport.

Hobart magistrate Robert Cooper, who has also been a coroner, will preside over the hearing.

Dates for a coronial inquest are expected to be scheduled after the outcome of the criminal case is determined.
