The owners of a dog that attacked a 6-year-old boy at Ravenswood last month are facing legal action.
The boy suffered injuries to his face requiring 26 stitches during the incident on November 15.
His wounds are reportedly healing well, but his mother says he is now petrified of dogs.

Launceston mayor Matthew Garwood has confirmed that legal action had commenced after a thorough investigation by council officers.
He said the action could result in the animal being seized and euthanised, or being formally declared a dangerous dog.
