Event chair David Dunn said he couldn’t be happier with how the three days unfolded:

“It’s been another fabulous year,” he said.

“We’ve not run the final figures yet and we had a few people not scan through with their ticketing during the hot conditions, but we’re looking at around 28 thousand.”

He said overall the crowds were also well behaved.

“With an event this size you’re always going to have a few minor scuffles,” he said.

“But there was nothing major. TasPolice were a great support to us and had a presence for the entire weekend.”

He said the planning committee would convene in a number of weeks to “debrief” before turning its attention to planning for next year’s event.
