Business owners along Main Road at Perth are concerned with the impact of the local council’s street upgrade works.
Northern Midlands Council is removing 10 car parking spots, replacing them with crossings and trees in raised planter boxes.
But shop owners say parking spaces are already at a premium, particularly during peak traffic times.

The works were outlined in the area plan eight years ago and seen as necessary for the town’s growing population which is predicted to double over the next 16 years.
