It’s been revealed a fire overnight in the Launceston Coles Complex at the Racecourse has caused an estimated $50,000 worth of damage.
It was one of two fires that took place early this morning with crews called out within an hour of each other.
The fire in the shopping complex is believed to have started in electrical equipment.

Crews from Launceston and Rocherlea were called around 1pm.
Meanwhile a house at Campbell Town has been extensively damaged.
Crews arrived in Montagu Street to find the house fully involved in fire around 1.45am.
