A 48-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital in Hobart after a fall on Wednesday afternoon at Cataract Gorge.
Police say they found the man about 30 metres below a rock ledge on a steep embankment near the zig zag track.
Search and Rescue attended with the assistance of Tamar Sea Rescue and the ambulance service to move the man and provide medical care.

He is in a serious but stable condition.
