Police say most patrons were well behaved during a high visibility operation in Launceston’s CBD on the weekend.
Police visited a number of licensed venues on Saturday night.
A 21 year old man was arrested for breaching his bail conditions.
A number of verbal warnings were issued in relation to people consuming alcohol on a public street.
Police also issued five formal directions for patrons to leave the CBD, and three Responsible Service of Alcohol breaches were identified and are being investigated.
Police say they will continue with operations that focus on detecting and deterring anti-social behaviour, and licensing and alcohol offences, to promote public safety.
