Launceston Council is looking to repeat efforts of last year finishing as the state’s top council in the local government blood drive.
But it’s not stopping there, with its eyes focused on being the best in the nation.
Launceston residents are being invited to join council staff rolling up their sleeves during September and donating to the council’s overall tally.

Meantime an extra 180 donations are needed in Launceston over the next two weeks to maintain emergency supplies.
